Deep Space Nine (shortened to DS9) was Sips and Sjin's original base in their first Minecraft series. Many names for it were suggested before they decided on the final title, including 'Super Base Land', 'The Best Base', 'Fort Excelsior', 'Fort Xanadu' and 'Super Good Base'.

Constructed out of wood, Deep Space Nine was later upgraded with an extra floor and a size increase at some point during Sips and Sjin's first Minecraft Series. 

Deep Space Nine was later destroyed by the Beaver Mafia as a warning to Sips and Sjin for interfering with their business. The Mafia also kidnapped Guy the sheep and murdered Aloysius the cow.

• Despite being a wooden fort in the middle of a river, Deep Space Nine was named after a Federation space station, located in deep space as the name suggests, from the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
