BBQ Bay was a large wooden structure set on the sea. It was connected to the outskirts of Mistral City by The Bridge to BBQ Bay, and to Verigan's Hold through a secret tunnel. Before it was burned down, it was an island structure of docks and sailing ships.
History[]
Its existence was first hinted at on the Yogscast Museum Server, where The Bridge to BBQ Bay was blocked off and "under construction". The Bridge to BBQ Bay was first seen in the distance in Minecraft - "Shadow of Israphel" Part 2: The Road to Mistral, when the heroes were making their way to Mistral City. It was seen once again in Minecraft - "Shadow of Israphel" Part 10: Revelations, this time during the night.
The character Pirate Tinman, who appeared in The Tale of the Sands cutscene from Minecraft - "Shadow of Israphel" Part 14: The Tale of the Sands, was a resident of BBQ Bay.
Swampy Bogbeard sensed that a fragment of Karpath's Map could be found in BBQ Bay. Xephos and Honeydew first visited in Minecraft - "Shadow of Israphel" Part 18: Swampy Away!.
However, the heroes took a secret path through the Carnivale Del Banjo archery range instead of the bridge, and sailed by boats towards one of the ships. They heard Jock Fireblast, Angus Eyeless, and Grimjaw Slugface speaking into chat, the pirates stating Grimjaw carries The Taint of Israphel. After, Grimjaw took off, only to attack the pirates and heroes with his ship, and his crew of Skeletons and Zombie Pigmen. Jock had the heroes go get Spacker LeChuck to help fix the supports, then Xephos and Honeydew burnt Grimjaw's ship down. The heroes realized they must find the map fragment, so Jock sent them off to Grimjaw's Treasure Hold, but tells them to beware of the Dread Pirate Norris, actually Isabel Peculier.
In Minecraft - "Shadow of Israphel" Part 24: The Fiend it is revealed that BBQ Bay had been burned down by Jock Fireblast, who was also revealed to have burnt down Mistral City, proving Skylord Lysander's innocence.
