Papers, Please is a puzzle simulation game developed by Lucas Pope and released for Windows and OS X, and was later ported to iPad and PlayStation Vita. The player takes the role of an immigration inspector at a border checkpoint in a fictional, Soviet-like nation called Arstotzka. In Papers, Please, the player has to check the passports and travel documents of those attempting to enter Arstotzka, looking for discrepancies to keep unwanted individuals and criminals out of the country.
