Portugal is a playable civilization in the Brave New World expansion pack for Civilization V.

During the Yogscast Civilization Christmas Livestream, Lewis played as Portugal.
Lewis spawned in a relatively good location near a lake. Lewis after establishing his capital began exploring eventually finding multiple ruins and city states. After going further south Lewis found The Celts , which were controlled by Zoey.
